Old rifts and wounds are healed and new sights are set on a promising future. Everyone seems to be ending up exactly as expected and right where they belong� along with more than a few unexpected surprises.

Glee goes back in time to see why the original members of New Directions signed up for glee club in the first place.

Over in New York, Kurt also runs into control issues when the band disagrees over the venue of their first official gig that Kurt booked. Meanwhile, Sue reveals the story behind her iconic tracksuit and gets in touch with her feminine side.

While New Directions takes on the music of Billy Joel, Kurt and Blaine reunite in New York. Meanwhile, Sam makes plans about his future.

The McKinley gang celebrate the life of former quarterback and New Directions member Finn Hudson. The episode mirrors the real-life death of actor Cory Monteith (1982-2013), who played Finn.

As the Prom approaches, the race for Prom Queen brings out the best and the worst in candidates Tina and Kitty. Meanwhile, Sam tries to make a connection with a new school nurse, an increasingly discouraged Rachel waits for word on her Funny Girl callback, and Santana makes a new friend at work.

The members of New Directions are back in action and take on their biggest assignment yet: the Beatles! As Will enlists the kids to pay homage to the classic song catalog from the Fab Four, Blaine and Kurt attempt to answer questions about their future together. Meanwhile, Rachel's New York ambitions take an unexpected turn.

It's finally time for Regionals, and the glee club is more determined than ever to advance to Nationals. Brittany returns from her MIT trip with a new attitude and Ryder finally has a lead on who is "catfishing" him.

A tribute to the film "Love, Actually" with five different storylines all dealing with the holidays. Sam and Brittany live as if it's the end of the world as the Mayans know it. The Puckermans, including half-brothers Puck and Jake and their mothers, come together for Chanukah. Artie suffers a head injury in which he slips on ice and has an epiphany through a dream sequence. He wonders what may have happened if he was never in a wheelchair and glee club never formed. His black-and-white vision has Rory as his guardian angel, reminding him of who he was to the glee club. Kurt spends Christmas with Blaine and his father in New York, whilst discovering his father has prostate cancer. Sue struggles to get a Secret Santa present for Marley's mother, Millie, but has a change of heart after seeing Marley and Millie struggle.

Finn thinks about his future with the glee club after sectionals are over. Elsewhere, Rachel gets ready for NYADA's winter showcase; and Kurt gets a second chance at an audition.

It's time for sectionals, and New Directions receives guidance from some of the recent McKinley graduates who volunteer to mentor the glee club during their Thanksgiving break. Meanwhile, Rachel and Kurt have a non-traditional holiday dinner in the Big Apple.

As their trophy from winning Nationals is being stolen � the New Directions start to think of what superheroes would do. As a conclusion, this weeks assignment is "Dynamic Duets". Romantic tension builds between Marley and two of the glee club's males, Jake and Ryder. Blaine checks in on the Warblers.

The McKinley High production of "Grease" opens, and Santana returns to help out. Rachel has another run-in with Cassandra, her dance instructor; and Kurt and Rachel visit Lima. Finn becomes the interim Glee Club Director.

The McKinley High production of "Grease" is being cast, and Artie recruits McKinley graduates Mercedes and Mike to help out with auditions. Competitors for the lead role of Danny include Jake and football player Ryder Lynn, while Marley and cheerleader Kitty are rivals for Sandy, the female lead. Will also has a big decision to make.

The relationships of four of the couples are tested � Will and Emma, Rachel and Finn, Kurt and Blaine, and Santana and Brittany but only one of them will survive.

Kurt gets an internship in New York at Vogue.com, working for Isabelle Wright (Sarah Jessica Parker). At McKinley High, Blaine runs against Brittany for president and wins. Rachel starts to warm up to her new classmate Brody inviting him to her and Kurt's apartment, but Finn shows up unexpectedly.

Brittany is depressed, and turns to her namesake Britney Spears for inspiration. Rachel continues to struggle in adjusting to life at NYADA and in New York, but gets help from new friend and classmate Brody. Puck meets Jake for the first time, when Will calls him.

Rachel begins school at NYADA, where she meets junior Brody Weston (Dean Geyer) and starts classes with a tough dance instructor, Cassandra July (Kate Hudson). At McKinley High, the rebuilding of New Directions begins and Wade "Unique" Adams (Alex Newell) transfers to join the group. Kurt aids director Will Schuester in finding potential recruits, who include Marley Rose (Melissa Benoist) and Puck's half brother Jake (Jacob Artist).

The William McKinley High School class of 2012 graduates, and the glee club bids farewell to its graduating seniors.

The glee club travels to Chicago, to compete in Nationals against the best show choirs in the country, including Vocal Adrenaline, for celebrity judges including Lindsay Lohan and Perez Hilton.

Tina's head injury from falling into a fountain leaves her seeing her fellow singers and other people at McKinley High in a new way as rehearsals continue for the glee club's Nationals performance.

Brittany goes into high gear as class president to spearhead the prom. Then, after prom king and queen nominations are announced, the kids kick into campaign mode, and some of the outcasts organize a rival celebration.

Rachel and Kurt finally get their chance to audition for the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts. Meanwhile, Puck makes a decision about his future after a meeting with his father.

The glee club pays homage to a true icon when they cover Whitney Houston's greatest hits. Meanwhile, Emma and Will are one step closer to their dream wedding.

Much to Blaine's chagrin, his big-shot Hollywood actor brother, Cooper, comes to visit.

Things heat up as the New Directions go head-to-head with the Dalton Academy Warblers at Regionals.

In honor of Valentine's Day, Will challenges the New Directions to find and perform the world's greatest love songs. Meanwhile, Rachel's two dads Hiram and LeRoy Berry pay a visit to McKinley High.

Will assigns the glee club a Spanish singing assignment, and enlists the help of his musically-inclined night school teacher. Meanwhile, Rachel spills the beans to Kurt and Mercedes on Finn's marriage proposal, and Mercedes has love complications of her own.

In a special episode celebrating the music of Michael Jackson, the rivalry between New Directions and the Warblers intensifies en route to Regionals. Meanwhile, Kurt and Rachel receive news regarding their admissions process at NYADA, and things continue to heat up between Sam and Mercedes.

When Will tries to plan a special surprise for Emma, he enlists the glee club to help him sweep her off her feet. Meanwhile, Becky sets her sights on Artie, and Finn makes an announcement about his life plans after high school that surprises the glee club.

Artie is asked to direct and produce a Christmas special for the local PBS station, while some of the New Directions learn the 'true' meaning of Christmas.

In an attempt to recruit a few more members, Finn tracks down former teammate Sam Evans and convinces him to come back to the glee club. Tina comes to the defense of Harry and encourages him to pursue his dream while McKinley prepares to host the big sectionals performance.

Finn tries to rally the rival show-choirs behind one of their own; Sue�s bid for political office causes heartbreak for another teacher; and the student body elections turn scandalous.

Congressional hopeful Sue Sylvester starts a smear campaign to ruin the candidacy of her biggest rival. Puck falls in love, and glee club directors Will and Shelby encourage some friendly competition between their clubs

The school musical West Side Story is readied for performance, with Artie as lead director. Finn meets with a football recruiter, whom Coach Beiste gains as an admirer. Kurt and Blaine reach a new, physical stage in their relationship, as do Rachel and Finn in theirs.

Irish exchange student Rory Flanagan arrives at McKinley High. He is living at Brittany's house, and she thinks he's a leprechaun. Mercedes starts recruiting for Shelby's new glee club, and Sue's run for congress picks up steam.

Emma gets a visit from her parents; Mike Chang's parents get involved when his grades aren't up to their standards.

Shelby Corcoran returns to the halls of McKinley High. Meanwhile, Mr. Schuester initiates a boot camp for some of the members of New Directions.

The glee kids are down in the dumps following their disappointing showing at Nationals, so Will assigns them a project to get them back on track. Meanwhile, Ms. Sylvester wants to go to Washington: Sue's running for Congress.

When the entertainment for prom falls through, Principal Figgins asks New Directions to perform at the dance much to prom coordinator Sue�s dismay. Things get heated as the competition for prom king and queen draws closer, and Jessie St. James returns.

Sue Sylvester revives the school newspaper and decides to print a few inflammatory blind items. The glee club gains a whole new respect for Sam when they discover some interesting new information about his family life. Meanwhile, April Rhodes (guest star Chenoweth) returns to Lima and tries to convince Mr. Schuester to hit the road with her.

The glee club learns about self-acceptance through the music of Lady Gaga; Lauren and Quinn compete for prom queen; Ms. Pillsbury faces with her issues; Rachel makes a life-changing decision; Santana schemes.

The glee club agrees to help raise funds for another under-the-radar group; big decisions are made and relationships are tested.

With Sue Sylvester coaching Aural Intensity, Blaine and the Warblers� dynamic set list and tough judges Tammy Jean Albertson (guest star Griffin) and Sister Mary Constance (guest star Devine), the kids of New Directions decide the only way to win Regionals is to write and perform their own original songs. Meanwhile, Quinn is hell-bent on getting Finn back and ruling McKinley once again.

Holly Holiday (Gwyneth Paltrow) returns as the sex education substitute teacher and helps the glee club out with some new numbers. On the other hand, Emma becomes the head of the celibacy club.

Principal Figgins teaches the student body about the danger of underage drinking, and the glee club is personally touched by the message. Meanwhile, Mr. Schuester and Coach Beiste indulge in a little fun of their own.

Love is in the air at McKinley High when the glee club sets up a kissing booth for Valentine's Day. Things don't go as planned, however, and hearts end up getting broken.

A local football championship game takes place and the "Thriller" mash-up is performed during the halftime show. The Cheerios, McKinley High's cheerleading team, compete at Regionals.

It's Christmas time at McKinley High and Finn tries to get everyone in the holiday spirit; Brittany needs no help because she still believes in Santa Claus. In other news, Sue scams the teacher's Secret Santa

New Directions heads to the big Sectionals competition to go head-to-head against the Warblers and the Hipsters. While trouble brews between some of the young couples, Emma and Carl grow closer.

It's all about wedding and parents with Kurt getting ready for his father Burt's upcoming marriage to Finn's mom Carole, Sue decides to compete by getting married as well which will lead to the introduction of an awesome guest star: Carol Burnett. Carol will play Sue's Nazi-hunting mother Doris, who comes to visit Sue in Ohio.

After Mr. Schuester gets sick, a substitute teacher takes over the Glee Club and becomes a new love interest and competition for Will.

The Girls vs. Boys Tournament returns, Kurt meets an ally from a rival glee club, Puck and Artie join forces and coach Beast is on the verge of quitting her job.

After learning of Emma's love of the film, Will has the glee club perform "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" for the school's annual musical.

Finn and Rachel plan to throw the competition so Sam can win when club members are assigned duets; Mike, Tina and Artie find themselves in a love triangle.

Finn has an existential crisis when he believes he sees the face of Jesus in his grilled cheese sandwich. Meanwhile, the rest of the kids rally around Kurt after he has a crisis of his own that leads to a larger discussion among the group about their own theology.

When Brittany and the gang try to convince Mr. Schuester to let them do a Britney Spears number, he is reluctant to go that edgy. Meanwhile, an insecure Will is curious about Emma�s new beau, Dr. Carl Howell, so he convinces her to bring him in to talk to the kids about dental hygiene. While the dreamy doc inspires the girls to take their dental health more seriously, Will is left feeling worse than before.

After a tough loss at Regionals, the glee club is back as the underdogs of McKinley High. When the school is faced with even more budget cuts, Mr. Schuester pushes the kids to help recruit new members for the club. Rachel and Finn disagree on new recruits, and aren�t sure they will be able to come together in perfect harmony.

Quinn is getting more anxious by the minute as she expects the baby, plus, Regionals is finally here, but will the Glee Club be able to triumph over Sue Sylvester's plots?

The glee club gets some news that�s sure to rattle a few nerves. Meanwhile, Quinn connects with her �funky� side with a little help from Mercedes, and Will gets revenge on Sue.

Mr. Schuester starts an investigation when a salacious list about members of the glee club circulates the halls of McKinley High. Meanwhile, Sue is mortified when a video of her performing the Olivia Newton-John classic "Physical" surfaces.

When Kurt sets his dad, Burt, up with an unexpected partner his plan for a nuclear family may backfire. Sue demands that the Cheerios! go on a crazy diet in preparation for a big interview with �Splits� magazine and April Rhodes returns to save Will and the glee club.

Mr. Schuester is concerned that the girls in the glee club are being disrespected and bullied by the guys. Looking to Madonna and her musical message of equality as inspiration, he challenges the entire team to choose Madonna songs as their next assignment in the hopes that the girls embrace her strength, independence and confidence and that the guys will see the error of their misogynistic ways. The glee club takes the assignment to heart as they perform some of Madonna�s greatest hits, including �Express Yourself� and �Like A Prayer.� Meanwhile, Kurt and Mercedes give Sue a vote of confidence with a makeover that is definitely in �Vogue�.

Fresh off their monumental win at Sectionals, New Directions is on top of the world. With an extra spring in their step, they get to work on new numbers for Regionals. But when Rachel and Finn�s budding romance hits a bump in the road after she becomes involved with a competitor, Jesse St. James , it threatens to derail the entire club. Mr. Schuester pays a visit to Shelby Corcoran, coach of Vocal Adrenaline, to confirm Jesse�s motives. Meanwhile, Will is newly single, but is he ready to take his relationship with Emma to the next level? And to top it all off, Sue Sylvester returns from her condo in Boca with a renewed focus on destroying Will and disbanding the glee club.

Sectionals is finally here for the Glee Club, but when Quinn�s secret unravels, the club may not be able to recover in time to compete. Meanwhile, Sue�s scheming hits an all-time high, and with Emma and Ken�s marriage looming, Will makes a decision that could change his life forever.

When the Glee Club is left out of the yearbook because of budget cuts, everyone seems to be relieved that they won�t have to suffer the ridicule of years past. Everyone except Rachel, that is, who wants her legacy cemented in print. Meanwhile, Quinn makes it her mission to be in the Cheerios yearbook photo, and Will and Terri�s relationship is shaken to its core.

Eve guest-stars as a rival glee club�s instructor. The Glee Club checks out their hair-raising competition, and Kurt gives Rachel a makeover.

Mr. Schuester has the Glee Club split up into pairs to sing their favorite ballad, but when one kid gets sick, he�s forced to step in and winds up in a sticky situation. Meanwhile, Finn has dinner with Quinn�s parents.

Will encourages the Glee Club to support Artie, and asks each of them to perform in a wheelchair. Meanwhile, Kurt and Rachel compete for a big solo.

Inspired by the students, Will composes a mash-up for a very special occasion. Meanwhile, in a shocking reversal of roles, McKinley High's cool kids are dethroned in an "icy" fashion, and Sue shows off her softer side in the "Mash-Up" episode of GLEE.

Sue's new job as Glee co-chair gives her new opportunities to break up the club as she introduces a tough competition to the group.

Will decides to give New Directions some competition between them by having the boys go against the girls. Terri becomes the school nurse to check on Will.

The Glee Club performs for the school for the first time. Meanwhile, when Quinn sees that Rachel has feelings for Finn, she goes to any length to keep him. Later, Mr. Schuester's wife reveals some surprising news.
