In lieu of attending the last Sunday at Calvary, the Greenleaf family gathers together for a small service at home. The shadow of loss looms large as they attempt to imagine their imminent futures and what it might mean for them to start over again. Grace feels incapable of surmounting the obstacles her family faces, until Noah provides an intriguing insight into the house�s history. Lady Mae goes to see Tara James and returns with a startling revelation.

Grace pushes forward in her investigation into Bob Whitmore�s former company, Edenvale Lending, discovering a key informant who could unlock the answers. The drama centered on a Memphis megachurch opens with the return home of estranged daughter Gracie following the death of her sister, Faith. Her father, the church bishop, seems happy to see her, but other family members are less than welcoming. Complicating matters even more: she learns unsettling information about the family and her sister's death from her Aunt Mavis.
