The biggest winner is "The Biggest Loser" in this compelling new weight-loss reality drama in which two celebrity fitness trainers join with top health experts to help 12 overweight contestants transform their bodies, health and ultimately, their lives. Caroline Rhea hosts the unscripted, one-hour series in which two competing teams follow comprehensive diet and exercise plans to undergo radical physical makeovers. Unique physical challenges, surprising alliances and irresistible temptations make the competition even tougher for the contestants, who ultimately have to decide which player gets eliminated each week. In the end, "The Biggest Loser" becomes the biggest winner, walking away with a healthier body - and $250,000.

It�s the halfway point in the season, and the contestants find out that the weight of only one player on each team will count this week, but they won�t know who it will be until the weigh-in. With this week�s theme of �Leading by example,� trainers Bob, Jillian and Dolvett skype with kid participants Biingo, Sunny and Lindsay, and motivate each one to do just that. While Sunny creates a circuit training routine for her fellow classmates, Biingo tries to recruit more friends to his after-school sports club. Lindsay gives an anti-bullying speech to her peers, joined by special guest Cody Simpson, who also talks about his experience being teased before performing for the kids. The adult contestants compete in a crazy challenge requiring them to avoid three swinging pendulums while walking on a balance beam to retrieve calorie-coded plates matching five specific dishes. Later, during last chance workouts, Dolvett�s team has a special visit with five-time undefeated world champion fighter Laila Ali, who put them through a fun and challenging boxing workout.

Completing the full 26.2 mile course will be their toughest challenge yet, but cheering them on along the way are some past season "Biggest Losers"- grand prize winners Ali Vincent and Michelle Aguilar, plus "at home" winners Jim Germanakos, Heba Salama and Bernie Salazar. And as an added incentive, each player who finishes the marathon will get $10,000 to donate to the charity of their choice. Later, it's the very last "last chance workouts" with trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels before a final weigh in determines who the two definite finalists will be - and which two contestants fall below the dreaded yellow line, leaving America to vote which one will be the third finalist to compete for the grand prize of $250,000.

Things move on at the ranch, and after a workout, the players find a giant mountain of cupcakes in the house, with a note saying that whichever player eats the most cupcakes in 15 minutes would get to eat dinner with a loved one. After deciding on a method where no one would eat too many calories, Dave eats only one cupcake and is able to eat dinner with his wife, Tina. At the challenge, teams are forced to run up 1,500 steps to the top of a huge building. The Blue Team completes it more quickly than the Red Team, and are given a great reward. After a spat between Lisa and Jillian about effort, the weigh-in reveals that the Blue Team had lost more weight than the Red Team, and in the end, the Red Team chooses to send home Matt because of his failure to work with the team.

The Red Team and the Blue Team are forced to go onstage and perform about their feelings on their weight and weight-loss. The winner, decided by the audience at the nightclub which the players performed at, is the Red Team, who is given a reward. Later, even with the Blue Team training as hard as ever, the Red Team loses more weight than the Blue Team, forcing Blue to the elimination ceremony, where rumours and whispers divide their team. The deciding vote comes down to one of the Blue Team members, and Aaron is eliminated.

After a tough elimination, the Blue Team gets back into the game on the second challenge, a bake-off which will determine the winner of a luxorious spa visit. The catch is that if any player takes a taste of anything they bake, 50 percent of all profits their team made is not counted. At the end of the task, the Red Team pulled through, making $362, edging out the Blue Team's $245. More importantly, the player's will power held strong, and no one took a lick of any food. At an emotional weigh-in, where neither Maurice, Lizzeth, Dave or Matt lose any weight, the Red Team is sent to the elimination ceremony, where Lizzeth is sent packing.

In a life-altering competition, contestants use medically approved weight-loss techniques to shed pounds and try to win a $250,000 prize. The twelve players are seperated into teams - red and blue - and in the first challenge, pulling a heavy car across a track - the Blue Team prospers, but despite their advantage, the Blue Team also loses the least amount of weight at the weigh-in, and Dana becomes the first to be voted out.
