One of Cora�s students is being bullied and she must try to help him before it�s too late. Elsewhere, with her probation nearing its end, a wistful London realizes Brown Meadows has become her home and that she will miss everyone.

Cora and Sasha have a domestic power struggle when they clash over who rules the household. Elsewhere, Brown runs an emergency-preparedness drill.

When her friend arrives, Edna asks Brown to pose as her husband. Elsewhere, London and Brianna attend a concert together in secret, which causes tension between London and Sasha.

Cora gets a job substitute teaching, thinking she'll be teaching "little angels". But she is tested when she's assigned some of the toughest students in the school. Meanwhile, Brown and London compete in a "fashion showdown" for a NY designer.

Brown starts charging the residents (and Cora) for amenities around the house � and it gets WAY out of hand: pay toilet, vending machine in the kitchen, parking meters, etc. The residents plot their revenge on Brown. Meanwhile, Will feels threatened when Sasha is offered a job that pays more than he makes.

Will and Sasha do all they can to keep Brianna and Joaquin from being adopted. Elsewhere, Brown tries to uncover evidence that the neighborhood's frat boys are growing their own marijuana.

Cora and Russell begin dating but Brown, afraid of losing his daughter and being left alone, scares Russell away.

After Brianna is suspended from school for bad behavior, Will and Carmen try to understand her. Elsewhere, Pop Brown's portrait is stolen from the Brown home and Brown punishes the guilty frat boys by making them work there.

Brown has lost a gospel-choir contest for six years now to the same flamboyant nemesis and is working hard to win this year. Elsewhere, Cora's longtime friend ends up on a walk on the wild side while coming for a visit.

When Sasha learns that a former abusive boyfriend has been released from prison, she must face her past once again when he pays her a visit. And Brown is under pressure when he discovers his raffle ticket to the Bahamas cruise is missing.

Brianna's very pregnant teenage friend Tamika comes to the house needing a place to stay. Brown ends up having to deliver the baby himself. Meanwhile, Miss Daisy is missing and everyone spends all day looking for her. It turns out she was making a hip-hop video

After learning that her childhood friend has died broke and alone, Ms Edna becomes very depressed and says she's lost the will to live. Cora is shocked and gets the residents to do a "This is You Life" night to show Edna just how appreciated and cherished she is.

The Brown's organize a surprise "family day" for the residents after a chaotic day within the house. Lo and behold, the only person to appear is the estranged daughter of the Colonel. Meanwhile, the neighborhood frat boys set up a step show for the residents. And Will and Sasha undergo a marriage rite of passage: their very first fight.

Sasha and Will ponder whether to become foster parents after the Brown's welcome in a pair of troubled orphans. Meanwhile, the diva duo of London Sheraton and Miss Daisy appear on a television show where they engage in a battle of wits.

An owner of another elderly home nearby accuses Brown of stealing her client, Daisy LaRue. Daisy likes it at Brown�s home and decides to stay. Cora tries to tell Brown about some of Miss Daisy�s odd behavior, but he pays her no mind. Will, Brown�s nephew, comes by and explains to Brown that taking care of the elderly is going to be hard. Brown doesn�t think it will be, and as long as he gets a few more residents like Miss Daisy, he�ll be fine. To recruit more residents, Brown decides to have a bingo night and the winner gets a trip to Brown Meadows. Unfortunately, however, Brown�s plan doesn�t work. In addition, Miss Daisy�s check bounces, so he�s now in the red. Later, a fire breaks out at the home down the street and Brown gets excited because he just hit the geriatric jackpot! But to his dismay, all of the residents� family members come to pick them up, leaving him with two mishaps: Ms. Edna and Colonel Jackson.

Brown feels like he did a good job fixing up the house without having any help and without spending any money. But once the house starts falling apart, he realizes he needs some help. Cora lets Brown know that she put up flyers around the church in search of help for the home. Brown agrees to interview some people. After several failed interviews, he hires Jesus as his janitor, who only speaks a little English. Instead of fixing the things that Brown gives him to do, he fixes things that aren�t broken. Brown soon gives up hope that the house will be in any condition to open for business, but with everyone�s help, they get the house in order.
